Pick Your Poison 3 - 16/0826

To start the show we had two returning wrestlers facing off against each other - Jake O'Grady and Cieran Donnelly.  Both have great technical skills and know each other well having trained at the same school at one point.  It was a good clean match with Cieran Donnelly winning in the end.

​

As promised at the last show, General Manager Ann Creed personally arranged the next match with Tristan Stone facing Big Country Ben McDonald.  Tristan tried to escape the building when Ben came out but was stopped at all exits and even pushed back into the room by Ann herself.  Ben did his job with ease and squashed Tristan to win the match.  Big Doug had to be called upon to carry Tristan out of the ring at the end.

Next up was a Trashcan Alley match with Andros Jay vs Austin Archies.  The weapons came out for this one and even Austin's security team couldn't help him save the day and it was a win for Andros.

​

The first half main event was the BMPW Tag Championship match.  The Big Steppas (Harry McDonald & Ryan Curran) vs Blood & Glitter (Kris Oak & Zak E Centric).  Unfortunately it was announced that Ryan Curran was injured and therefore Harry McDonald complained that it would be an unfair match.  GM Ann Creed came out to give Harry an ultimatum.  She gave him 3 choices - option 1 relinquish the belt, option 2 choose another partner to tag with but someone in the building so that the match could happen today, option 3 continue with the match on his own.  After some deliberation Harry choose to continue with the match on his own but Blood & Glitter were too much for Harry to take on one handed and he lost the Tag Championship belts to them

The Hitman Ryan Russell  finally go his hands on Ryan Steel in this long awaited one on one match between these two.  Russell gave it his all but with Steel using some cheap shots and cheating it was always going to be Ryan Steel that won this one.

​

The Golden Contact Match where the winner is guaranteed any championship opportunity of their choosing and/or any opponents/stipulation of their choosing.  First out was Protege Vickie followed by Cristian Croft showing off his recently won Kent Life Trophy.  The match graphics had implied that there would be a third contender for this match but no name was put forward.  The surprise third opponent was Ted Sabin making his return to BMPW.  It was a good match fought well by all by the ultimate winner was Cristian Croft who now holds the Golden Contract.  We look forward to seeing what he decides to do with this opportunity.

Main Event - Taylor James vs Cletus Cannonball for the Championship Belt.  This is Taylor's 1st defence as champion and he had his work cut out against Cletus who fought hard to gain a belt that he has been desperate to get for some time but this was not going to happen today as Taylor James retained the title.
